Server high pings?

Allright I got an e-mail yesterday about our provider not dealing with internap anymore as of the end of the month.... We'll have to deal with another network.

I also got the following this morning:

This announcement impacts only customers who use Internap bandwidth. BGP customers are not affected

Our Cross connect with Internap went offline on Monday 2/1/10. The traffic was automatically re-routed through the BGP segment to avoid any downtime. We expect the issue to be resolved by Thursday 2/4/10 afternoon The traffic will be re-routed back through Internap as soon the cross connect is back online

PLease see how your pings are with BGP (troday) and let me know if it's an option or if you see any changes. .

I know it's a strange time of day, no one is on any servers, but...
14:00 central time.
CoD4:
.:MASTER:. server = 37 - 39 ping
[G13] Tourney server 2 = 37-39 ping
[G13] main server 1 is down

CoD5:
.:MASTER:. server is down
TC Freeze Tag server = 47 - 50 ping

On CoD4, my ping is 20 - 30 points lower now.
On CoD5, my ping is 10 - 20 points lower now.

Seems to me BGP is better, at least in my case. Thumb Up

My Ping on Master cod4 was 34-39, I think 20 -30 points lower is about right
